We are learning a ton and having a great time in room 258! We have done numerous experiments in our Science study of Matter. Ask your child how we made carbon dioxide....and blew up a balloon! It seemed like magic.
We are working on writing through our WEX strategies. This week we practiced focusing on a single moment. I will be collecting WEX binders this weekend, and giving kids feedback. The binders always stay at school.
My math group is finishing up Unit 1 on Geometry, and we will be taking the test next week. More info to follow.
Thanks for all of your help getting your kids going on Biblionasium. I will be checking on Monday to make sure that they have logged 100 minutes this week. Use the weekend to catch up! Remember, the challenge of the month is to read a realistic fiction book. We will be doing a report on it later in the month.
